President’s Report
- We have received one Teacher Grant request from the 2nd grade for a Math day. It was approved contingent on some minor changes.
- The Orange County Council PTA Holiday gathering is December 6th for anyone wishing to attend.
- The sound system request is being worked on; Mrs. Grande will give us her recommendations and is not anticipating the cost to be over $2000.
VP Report-Ann congratulated Mariel and Joanna Welch on the Salute our Soldiers Dance as it was very well run.
Treasurer’s Report - A financial update was provided.
Past Events Review - Chick Fil-A was a success. Plans were discussed for having another one in January with the proceeds going to the PTA instead of the Nurses Fund.
Upcoming Events
- December’s focus will be Box Tops.
- Chick Fil-A Night. Tentative date is 1/11. Stacey will contact restaurant. We will also see if the start time can be 4:30
Committee Reports
- Membership, Mandy- We have 199 PTA members. Ms. Wells’ class had a cookie decorating party to celebrate their winning for most participation.
- Beautification, Michelle-The painting will be done in the cafeteria in January.
- Fundraising,Erin & Michelle - Cookie Dough delivery will be the week of December 15th.
- Special Events,Joanna & Mariel- Heart to Heart Dance in February. Requesting date be moved to 2/9.
